EMPOWERING GIRLS,
TRANSFORMING AFRICA.

Pearls Africa Youth Foundation is a non-profit advancing young girls and women especially those in underserved communities toward economic independence through technology, leadership, and skill.

Girls coding program

A foundation built on belief in girls

Founded in Lagos, Nigeria, Pearls Africa Youth Foundation focuses on advancing vulnerable young girls and women toward economic independence. We believe every girl deserves equal opportunity regardless of her background.

Through Girls-Coding, Empowered Hands, GirlsInSTEM, and GC Mentors, girls gain functional skills that help them achieve economic independence before age 18.

Mission

Inspire girls and women to excel in technology careers and achieve economic independence.

Vision

An African world where women are proportionally represented as technical leaders.

Our philosophy

01

Equal Opportunity for Every Girl

Every girl deserves equal opportunity and empowerment irrespective of her background, location, or economic status. Access to education and skills is a right, not a privilege.

02

Mentorship by Women is Vital

Women mentoring girls creates a powerful cycle of empowerment. Seeing someone who looks like you succeed breaks down mental barriers and opens doors to possibility.

03

Girls Can Transform Communities

Girls and women have the value, capability, and determination to achieve goals and transform their communities. When a girl is empowered, entire families and communities rise.
